GOOD TIMES ROLL FOR 'KINDNESS'
Things are really beginning to happen in the recording world for a local group whose first single entitled "Let The Good Times Roll" has just been released.
The group formerly known as "The Elizabethans" and now named "Kindness" has four members, bass player Terry Uttley and singer Chris Norman both from Bradford, drummer Ron Kelly from Birkenshaw, and Alan Silson who plays lead guitar from East Bierley. Their road manager Keith Crabtree from Gomersal, also has local connections. Both he and Alan Silson are former pupils of Birkenshaw County Secondary School (it was Ron Kelly who was in Birkenshaw County Secondary School)*.
The group has now signed a management contract with Dave Eager, the disc jockey of Radio One fame.
TV & RADIO
They also have lined up a number of television and radio broadcasts to promote their record, among which are Granada TV's "Lift Off" and Radio One's Johnny Walker and Jimmy Savile's Show.
They have also been appearing backing Peter Noone (of Herman's Hermits) on his personal appearances in night clubs and theatres around the country.
Radio One.
Johnny Walker and Jimmy Savile's Show на Radio One.
